This site talked about a lot of things like, demographics, influence of the TV, and many other things that affected us economically and politically when the TV was introduced. I got a lot of information about demographics in America from this site that gave me insight into the true influence of television and how many people is actually reached during its major growth period. It also provided an interview with a man who grew up in the 1950s and spoke about some of the ways people were portrayed in television shows.

Lucille Ball one perhaps one of the most influential actresses in the 50s. She set the standards for all women actresses to come and became a large influence in the entertainment business. This article helped me understand her impact of society as a woman actor in the 50s and solidified her success in helping give more power to the women of America.

He managed to help keep an entire genre afloat with his talent for American westerns. He was a major part of the shaping the culture of Americans in the 50s with his films. Though some would argue he helped give a false impression of historical matter in his films. It gave me a better understanding of his influence on westerns.
